This week at home we will be making a family tree. Our family trees should include three generations (grandparents, aunts/uncles/parents, and self/siblings/cousins). You may show either your mom's side, your dad's side, or both sides of your family tree. All families are different, so all of our family trees will look very different. I hope that you spend the time to learn about your family and what makes it special.
Here is Ms. Thompson's family tree showing both sides of her family. We created a symbol as a class to show that the grandparents are no longer living.
