Little Researchers

This week as part of our study of Famous Americans, the first graders transformed themselves into researchers. Students were paired up and chose a famous American to learn about. Some of these famous Americans included George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, Sequoyah, Barack Obama, Wilma Rudolph, Tiger Woods, and more!

Here you can see us on the laptops reading and writing all the information we found.

After we researched, we were off to the computer lab to make our very own PowerPoint. The students learned how to insert images, save files, add new slides, and we even practice our typing. This upcoming week we will be presenting our PowerPoints to the class so we can all learn about these important Americans.
